Welcome to your first Discovery Path.

Discovery Path tasks are called ‘steps’ and may be completed in any order. At every step, you’ll know what’s required to complete the step.

There are 5 basic instructions : VISIT – READ – WATCH – LEARN – COMPLETE

A VISIT – consists of simply visiting the page and skimming/reading for 5 seconds (wait for the page to completely load). These usually contain site resources or new material we’d like you to be aware of.

A READ – requires that you click a button (or take some specific action) at the end of the text to complete the step and indicate that you’ve read it. Pay close Attention to the READS, these steps contain concepts that will be visited again on another Path.

A WATCH – requires that the video plays until the end for the interaction to be credited.

A LEARN- is a mix of VISIT and READ. Although A LEARN doesn’t require that you take some specific action, it’s good to have a comfortable understanding of the information. A LEARN step may require that you conduct your own outside research to solidify the concept in your mind. A LEARN is credited quickly as if A VISIT.

A COMPLETE- requires that you interact with a poll, quiz or participate in an end of course journal entry. All required items must be Completed for your account to be credited as complete.

Keep in mind that Following a Discovery Path is not a requirement of membership. The operative word is ‘Discovery’, you are only required to Spend the Time and Pay the Attention you wish to pay.

Don’t like something, just skip it. It’s your Time and Attention.
